| Another Way to Volunteer: Join the NBCF Speakers' Bureau
In response to the hundreds of requests NBCF receives every year from community and corporate groups across the country for speakers to address their events, we established the NBCF Speakers’ Bureau. NBCF ambassadors share their personal story and talk about the work of the NBCF and by doing so, encourage individuals and organisations to contribute to breast cancer research.
You can help others by sharing your story, your time and your friendship. If you have been personally touched by breast cancer, either directly or indirectly and would like to become an ambassador for breast cancer research, the NBCF invites you to come along to a free training session in your nearest capital city. You will learn about presentation skills, storytelling and speech structuring and be briefed on the work of the Foundation.
Speakers are needed in all regions of Australia and our busiest times are May and October. For more information contact Sue Cameron at 02 9299 4090 or sue.cameron@nbcf.org.au.
