Judi Adams Fundraiser extraordinaire

May 2012

Following the loss of a wonderful friend to breast cancer, Tasmanian-based Judi Adams decided to make a difference and get involved in the fight against breast cancer. Not one to do things by half measures, Judi has, since 2004, become one of our most valued fundraisers!

Judi AdamsEvery year Hobart becomes awash with pink as Judi works tirelessly to raise awareness and much needed funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation. Between Pink Ribbon Breakfasts, Nastro Rosa, Lumin8 Hobart, Girls' Day Out and Think Pink Race Day Judi coordinates numerous events with the support of the local community in Hobart.

Last year’s Pink Race Day was a phenomenal success and raised a staggering $41,000 for breast cancer research! Judi recognises that it is the support she receives from the greater community, friends and family that contributes to her outstanding results, “My friends and family have been dragged into assisting with so many things that I owe them big time for their unwavering support and help!” she said.

We wish Judi all the best with this year’s fundraising and thank her for all her tremendous work over the years!
